About the author
I have written three books. Enchanted Shores, is a small book of short stories and poetry with the ocean as the background. Humorous and romantic, these stories, written in folk tale form, are full of magical characters such as angels, leprechauns, witches and wizards, and many more.
We Won't Forget You Mr. McGillicuddy, is a novel about a family caring for an aging WWII veteran with dementia. Robert, his oldest son and caretaker, winds up making room for his oldest daughter who is pregnant and her pre-teen. In the background, someone from Rober's past is seeking revenge. That person is now a manager of a security firm contracted out to the NSA.
The Children of Raven's Reach, is an engrossing story of love and magic. There is war with magic, martial arts battles, an attempt to rescue trafficked children and a love that will never end. This story will be out soon. It's at the editor's desk now.
Beyond this I also have a weekly column on my website, irawhite.com, of shorts called Rants in the Pants. In addition, I've had an eventful life and have many stories that if I told them, no one would believe me.

Robert, an active blogger, cares for his WWII veteran father and his pregnant daughter and her preteen. His wife has passed, he's retired, and yet he takes care of family. Meanwhile, in the background, Fedder, an enemy from the past, seeks revenge despite the passage of time. His new job, manager of a security firm contracted to the NSA, helps with this. His new assignment? Seek out bloggers who are a danger to the government.
This book is full of family and love but also suspense. Will Fedder succeed in his efforts to get revenge? How will the family deal with the continued decline of Grandpa Great? The ending will have you twisted into knots.
