About the author

Okay, a little about me. I'm a Dragon Awards Finalist author. My experiences and observations from twenty-one years as an Air Force senior non-commissioned officer have added flavor and color to my stories. From that, I draw from the experience of being deployed or stationed in over two dozen countries. There’s still sand in my boots. The differences often felt like I was on another world; this is where I stole or created characters and species for my novels. When writing science fiction, I frequently inject veterans and retirees into my stories, especially the series Gray Panthers, dedicated to both. My last series, Infected World Trilogy, follows active duty members while they fight zombies and alien invaders.

I just started a new series, Alien, about the invasion of Earth during WWII. It helps that I’ve been a serious military historian my entire life. When not writing or providing technical support, I can be found in the desert shooting my classic military firearms from WWII, Korea, and Vietnam.
